Credit Reporting Business Scoops Three Awards in a Week

February has been quite a month for Buckinghamshire based credit reporting firm, CoCredo.

Still reeling from their success of 2018, where they won two company awards, including Business Leader of the Year and Technology Innovator Person of the Year. Members of the CoCredo team attended the British Credit Awards 2019 in London earlier this month, with high hopes, as they were shortlisted in not just one but three categories.
These awards are the highest accolade credit professionals can receive within the industry and are highly sort after. Having won the Credit Provider of the Year award in 2014 they have been shortlisted every year since but haven’t come back with the trophy. The competition for this highly coveted award is hard fought by all the big hitters in the credit industry including the likes of Experian, Dun & Bradstreet and Graydon to name but a few.  However, this year was to be the year that they all had to sit and watch, as MD of CoCredo, Dan Hancocks received the award.
Whisked off to be interviewed straight after the presentation Dan Hancocks sat down for a mere 5 seconds only to have his name called out again to collect the Employer of the Year Award!
Speaking to Dan Hancocks about the successful evening he commented:
“All the team at CoCredo have been bowled over by our success at the British Credit Awards this year. To win one award was amazing but the second award was the icing on the cake. We will be celebrating with a team day out next week!“
Riding high on their double success at the British Credit Awards, CoCredo then attended the SME Bucks and MK Business Awards a week later, hoping to claim yet another award.
David and Lisa Boots (husband and wife who both work at CoCredo) attended the event that was held on valentines evening.
CoCredo were finalists in two categories (Business Innovation and Best Enterprising Business) and were hoping for a win this year as they were runners up last year. To their delight we were awarded the trophy for Business Innovation. The judges comments were that they are “A fast moving, innovative company that saw a gap in the market and found the solution.”
David Boots, Sales Manager commented; “We are over the moon at getting the award for Business Innovation. We feel that the award recognises the work that has been put into the design and launch of our new Dual Report, which is a new product that we are all very proud of. It is an industry first, showing two credit providers opinions in one report – a product that the credit industry has been crying out for, for quite sometime.”
