We were very proud, last month, to announced a major new partnership between ourselves and CCR, which we hope will be to the benefit of the whole industry.
Along with Lynn Christon, I have recently founded Forums International to continue the groups that we have run since 1991.
We now have 10 forums, which help share and develop best and new practices, understand trends in credit and help prepare the members for current and future business challenges. They are quite different to credit circles and provide a high level of benefit and the opportunity to network with their peers.
The forums have over 300 members from major corporates across the globe.
As a result of our partnership, CCRMagazine’s readers who become new forum members can now claim a one-off special 10% discount on their first year’s subscription. This is exclusively for credit and collections professionals as part of the new partnership. Our current forums are:
- 2iCF (International IT & Technology
Credit Forum) – next meeting: 20-21 April,
Google’s headquarters in Dublin.
- CMF (Construction Materials Credit
Forum) – next meeting: 14 June, Stratfordupon-

The CPF (formally called the CMIG) is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year. There will be an evening event on the 14 October for current & former member. If you are already a member, or would like to become one, please get in touch.
Overall, we are very pleased with the support that we have received from our existing members, corporate sponsors and new partners after picking up the baton of running our forums on our own, for the benefit of our members. The new company Forums International provides an exciting new platform to develop the existing credit and industry forums, but also to enhance the current member’s experience and, hopefully, expand the forums into new industries and geographies.
Attendance at your first meeting is free of charge, and please quote “CCR2016” to receive the special 10% discount off of your first annual subscription. Please contact me if you would like further details.
Forums International Ltd will be at CCRInteractive on Tuesday 4 October. We will be holding a Forum Members & Prospects Lunch. More details to follow. We look forward to seeing you there.
